What we collect
The demo request form. Your name, your work email address and your school, which we need to reply to you; your role and how your classrooms are equipped, if you provide them. If you come from the quote estimator, the estimate and its link are attached to your request.
The quote estimator. Your settings stay in your browser: they appear in the page address, and nothing is sent to us until you fill in the form. The “Book a meeting” button keeps the estimate in the browser’s session storage, cleared when the tab is closed, so it can be attached to the form.
Technical data. Like any host, Netlify records in its logs the information needed for the website to work securely: IP address, date, requested page, browser.
The typeface. To display the Inter typeface, your browser downloads it from Google Fonts servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
This website sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement, advertising or tracking tools.

Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the requests we receive is limited to the members of the Focalis team who need them to reply to you.
What about the Focalis software used in class?
In a school, the Focalis software is used under the responsibility of the school, which is the data controller; Focalis acts as a processor, under the contract between them.
Lessons go directly from the teacher’s computer to the students’ computers over the local network: no lesson content, no screen, no message, no file, leaves the school. We provide the school and its data protection officer with the documentation they need: information for families and teachers, a data map, help with the impact assessment.
